Hi, my name is Luca and I'm a student applied computer sciences and future junior system engineer with a great passion and drive for IT.
Ever since I was little, I have been fascinated by computers, how they work and what you can do with them. I like to continue this fascination in my job. I am not really a sporty person, but in my free time I like to listen to music and podcasts, play video games together with my friends, learn new IT skills or fiddle on a new project.
Created an Ansible role to install and configure Prometheus and Grafana. The playbook installs the latest version of both Prometheus and Grafana based on the provided config files and configures them as a service. Users can also opt to install a specific version by changing the vars-file.
Wrote scripts to gather data from different Linux servers. Set up automation services so data can be queried periodically. Worked on compiling this data and presenting it in useful dashboards.
As a part of the operations team within the DevOps project. We created a fully functioning environment for a web application in the cloud. This consisted of creating a test environment locally, building an acceptance environment using Google Cloud Platform and deploying it to production after sufficient testing. All these environments were fully automated using Ansible playbooks and Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration.

As a group of students systemn and network management we want to focus on the growing cybersecurity market. With this project we want to achieve a security audit using a well known method, penetration testing. We created a demo where an existing, known DHCP starvation attack was simulated. Using a Kali Linux VM which acted as a man in the middel on the network and a Kali Linux network security and hacking tool named Yersinia, we were able to gather critical and confidential information from te target device.
Developed a game called sokoban in Java with functioning GUI. The player can play the game, progress through levels and choose a between 3 difficulties.

Grafana is a multi-platform open source analytics and interactive visualization web application. It provides charts, graphs, and alerts for the web when connected to supported data sources. End users can create complex monitoring dashboards using interactive query builders.
Docker is a set of platform as a service products that use OS-level virtualization to deliver software in packages called containers. The service has both free and premium tiers. The software that hosts the containers is called Docker Engine.
